Like I had mentioned we were waiting Mia to arrive.. Yet on the day she was arriving, we had nothing in the car!
I remember it was on Monday 22nd June, I was having lunch with Thomas, I felt a flush of discharge..
Weird enough but no pain so I didn't say anything .. Another flush at night time and we called the ward, since no pain, we were told to stay at home.
23rd June, Tuesday
Woke up early, well dressed and even put on my make up, I went to Kalamunda to meet an old friend, Nat for a breakky! She is too, quite pregnant with baby Leo, so we were just sharing our journey .. And I felt another flush.
Rang my midwife.. She wasn't too sure if that's sigh of laboring but to be safe I was told to get into hospital to see my doctor who would be finishing his consult in 30 mins.. Rang Jamie and hey we are such a smart couple, decided to go in his ute.. While baby bag hospital bag were in my car ...Ding!
Guess what.. Yupe couple cms dilated and water leaked .. And hey doctor wanted to induce as Mia's bouffhead wasn't engaged! "Straight to the birthing suite.", Dr Mincham said.
Anyway I think I looked amazing as someone that was laboring.. Midwife probably wonder why i had full on make up and came in to deliver a baby!
