7 days

Yes 6 days n nights of struggles.. 

Finally Mia is getting the idea of...sleeping peacefully!

So she didn't cry at all for her naps and about 5 mins of screaming at night and just one feed for 12 hours! 

Yes baby, I'm soooo proud of u!!!

Hard work pay off!! 

Now I have a happy bubba who is perfect in my eyes! 

Stress

Milk supply drop! 

Guess didn't have a sleep, stress, stress after stress.. 

It's just hard to go through this with Mia ..

And perhaps warm weather and less feeding .. 

What so ever...  I have to look after myself! Mama, please toughen up

Tough!

So tough! Just so tough!

Today Mia has regressed and cried a lot more.

So took her about 45-60 mins to settle.

It just break my heart 

I'm feeling lonely at the same. Like what people say those times don't come back, I miss feeding her sleep, I miss her sweet face next to me.

Is this even a right decision?

It's day 4 

I can see improvement, huge one especially naps. So finally Mia plays with her usual toys and mobile in cot and little fuss then sleep. 

Again night time is harder , I suppose take longer times to wind down too! Keep it up bubba! 

I got to say, I'm feeling very lonely!!! 

Now that she is in her cot from 7.30pm, I actually dunno what to do now..

I am missing you in bed, Mia 

Day 4 into CIO

This is DRAINING. 

I have to say she is very smart, soon she will get the idea, I hope. 

So the results of Cry it out, is yet to determined 

However she realised she could pull herself up using cot rail! Thus she could see if I was in bed and it's closer to door?! 

Seriously this is heart breaking. I'm glad I didn't wait til she is walking ... 

Since I can pull myself with cot rail, I guess all other furnitures too mama?!

1st nap

So we did CRY IT OUT.

It's so hard to listen... It breaks every piece of my heart.

 

We did 2,4,8,10 mins and finally before that 10 mins Mia, you had done it. 

I can't believe it 

Nana's birthday

10!!! 10 years old!! My girl is 10!!! 

Can't believe it! So took nana to the park, quick walk. Mia was rather tired, so sorry nana walk was rather short.

To make it up, the birthday girl had a treat!! 

Yihh hahh mummy!

Day 5

Yes huge improvements baby! 

Last night was the first night she actually just had little whinge at her 45 mins after bed time. Phew! But she did grizzly cry around 1030 and 1130.. Then down again til 1.45am, I fed her. Put her down and she went to zz on her own.. 

But I couldn't go back to zz! Crazy!! So stayed wide awake and next feed was 6am, she was sleeping again til 8.30am. Me? Wide awake! 

So morning and noon naps Mia started to play in her cot. Finally! Didn't cry in the morning while noon nap she probably cried about 10 mins.. 

Thanks godness. 

Though nap length wasn't perfect, she has done so well! 

Night time? Well she still screamed for 30 mins, and now she is an hour into her sleep.. Please Mia, move to light sleep cycle smoothly... Please!! 

I want this to work, I can't put u through another round of this. Daddy and mummy are very upset to see you screams for ages, we have to make it work. 

Heart breaks

This is just soooo hard... Already a few bruises from banging the cot 

Listening to Mia's screams.. Day and night 

And she actually learned to pull herself up from the cot rail so she can see if I was there..

Baby, I'm so so so sorry..

7 months

Don't even know how those months went that fast... 

So our "honeymoon" is over bubba. Dad's work site had gone into care and maintenance stage, in other word, dad lost his job. 

Also this means mummy might have to go back to work sooner than planned. Millions millions billions trillions of unwillingness but I know I have to train you to self settle. It's either do it at home while mummy comes comfort or day care?! So TOUGH LOVE bubba. 

We gave you milk from the cup and you took it like a champ, so I guess that attachment can be break. 

So one more thing--> SLEEP

Cuddling you, feeding you, you were feeling so content in mumma side in bed last night.. I cried. This might be the last time Mia.. 

 

It's for the better I believe, I love u Mia. 

Sprouting

Look, I have 2 little teeth mumma! 

Crawler

I'm pretty sure Mia had just crawled! 

On all 4s.. Hooray!! Another milestone ticked!

Also 2 teeth are cutting through, another milestone!! 

And today, I went to remove my baby tooth. Geez, it's scary. I'm lucky that I have a good dentist!! 

I swear I will make it a habit for Mia to go dentist regularly! 

Sit!

It's been 3 days now Mia had beautifully master her "push self to sit!"

Clap clap clap! Proud of you baby girl !! 

So went to the shop with mum yesterday. Got her to wear Mia! Mia zzz in the carrier, mum was so excited!!! Geez it's been a while since she zzz on someone else rather than mummy!!!

1st fever

My god, sick again! 

Not sure if this is the side effect from her 6 months needles 4 days ago?! However Mia is having mild fever.. 

In other words, crap sleep! Haha

I was so proud of her, didn't cry much at her needle. She had done so well as compared to some bubs in the room Ahha. 

Anyway Vicky Seet got Mia this beautiful Minnie Mouse outfit as Xmas pressie. She wore this to Vicky's birthday dinner with the family. 

Love vickys family. They are so down to earth and warmth. Mia as usual not very good at socialising Ahha! 

She looks amazingly cute. Sorry I'm such a proud mama am I?! 

First sit!

Yes Mia just did her first proper self sit! She was smiling when she finally got it:)

Happy new year

The Good morning 2016. 

2015, had been one of the best year in my life. I was very spoilt with friends and families around me. Of course I have also become a mama! A very proud mama to my beautiful koala, Mia. 

Nana has been a fantastic girl too. I'm so glad she accepted Mia and respected that she can't be too angry at her, such a good baby girl:)

Jamie has been good too, we had lots of wonderful times and Mia has definitely challenge him as a father. 

On this happy new year day, Mia had a poo leaked accident. Jamie and I were cleaning cooking in the kitchen while Mia was playing in her highchair. When Jamie picked her up he was like oh no, poop!!

He started to clean her change her.. And all I heard was spewing noise

I was walking to the room and I said "come on Jamie, don't exaggerate!"

Geez this is serious... Jamie spew!!!!!! 

Guess I forgot to tell him, now that Mia is taking solid, her poop stinks ! Ahhaha
